Podium Surveying have an opening for an enthusiastic and confident Architectural Technician. This role is perfect for someone who excels in client interactions and is eager to advance their career in a vibrant and forward-thinking company.

As part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our core services and we’re looking for a candidate with the right blend of experience and passion to contribute to our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

– Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs.

– Utilise your construction design expertise to produce as-built drawings of our client’s buildings for planning applications, building control applications and design purposes.

– Work proficiently with CAD software to develop detailed designs for planning and building control applications.

– Integrate the latest technology into your workflow, including our newly acquired 3D laser scanner; full training will be provided.

Ideal Candidate:

– An experienced Architectural Technologist with a proven track record in the field.

– Holds relevant qualifications and/or substantial experience in architectural technology.

– Proficient in CAD with a solid understanding of construction design.

– Enthusiastic about learning and integrating new technologies into design processes.

– Friendly and approachable, with a positive attitude towards teamwork and client interaction.

– Able to work independently and plan workload.
