CHAS accreditation success for Podium Surveying

Podium Surveying LLP is pleased to announce it has recently achieved The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) accreditation. By attaining this industry renown accreditation, Podium Surveying has demonstrated compliance with the CHAS standards in line with SSIP Core Criteria and UK health & safety legislation and has been awarded accreditation to the requirements of the CDM Regulations 2015.

Additionally, through Podium Surveying’s Premium Plus accreditation we have also demonstrated full compliance with six modules of PAS 91. The six modules demonstrate best practice in the areas of environmental standards, quality management, equal opportunities & diversity, financial & business standing, anti-bribery & corruption and modern slavery.

As part of our assessment, we also demonstrated our commitment to mitigating COVID-19 risks by showing that we have effective control measures in place. Through this new module (Statement of Best Practice – COVID-19), we have demonstrated best practice in creating a COVID secure workplace and supply chain, safeguarding our business and everyone affected by our business operations from health and safety risks and economic downturn.

CHAS is a part of the SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement), with one of its core aims is to reduce health and safety assessment costs and duplication in the supply chain. This accreditation demonstrates Podium Surveying is run in line with best practice and nationally recognised benchmark standards.
