Podium secures a place on CHIC’s Fire & Building Safety Framework

We are delighted to announce that Podium Surveying has been successfully appointed to CHIC’s Fire & Building Safety Framework 2025 – 2029 under Lot 3 – Consultancy and Management, providing Fire Door Inspections and Building Safety Cases.  This achievement reflects our commitment to delivering high quality services and solutions in collaboration with CHIC.

About the Framework:

Developed in close collaboration with members, consultants and contractors, this new CHIC framework aims to enhance fire safety compliance across diverse building types while encouraging innovation and efficiency. With a strong focus on flexibility, sustainability and collaborative outcomes, the framework aligns with key legislative requirements, including the Building Safety Act 2022.

Fire safety is a critical component of a comprehensive strategic asset management approach for Registered Providers. Ensuring robust fire safety measures not only protects residents and assets but also underpins the long-term sustainability and compliance of building portfolios.

This framework provides an integrated solution, supporting members in meeting their regulatory obligations, enhancing building safety and supporting proactive risk management.

The Podium team will be led by Stuart Buckley, an RICS Chartered Building Surveyor with over 25 years of post-qualification experience and a Member of the Institution of Fire Safety Managers. Stuart has conducted numerous cladding and compartmentation surveys, designed and managed remedial works, acts as Principal Designer and compiles Building Safety Case Reports for HRBs. His work includes advising on fire safety strategies, overseeing repairs, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
